Elder M and Elder S, serving in Sylacauga with Elder Barfuss "fine tuning" their apartment

Sunday's after church we drive the Sylacauga Elders to give the Sacrament to shut ins, follow up on new move ins and ward members.  As we stopped by one home, the Elders were directed to go quickly across the street. (Sister Barfuss watching from pick up, saw all three run across the street)  The gentleman they wanted to visit with, received a phone call that his neighbor lady had fallen and no one had the strength to help her up.  In a matter of minutes, the Elders and Elder Barfuss lifted her up and it saved them a call to emergency personnel!  (Right place at the right time, what a blessing)

Byron voted Jr. CGO for the Year! Huge honor
We feel blessed that our children stay in touch with texts, photos, phone calls, Face time and Facebook. The communication brings us such joy!! Technology is remarkable as compared to when my Grandfather served in the Southern States Mission. (Snail mail and rare phone calls)
Senior missionaries have unlimited carte blanche of connections that are so sweet.
Sunday morning beauties

Happy Twin Falls Bunch, showing uniqueness in creative carved Halloween Pumpkins. So much fun!
Last flannel quilt made, given to new convert's daughter

Niki made this in less than a month for a gift!! We were as impressed by the work, as getting all 4 to hold a pose!

Ryan and Natalie's family visited the Fairbanks Homestead on their trip to Boston. Natalie's cousin, Lisa and her family had just visited the hour prior without either of them knowing until Natalie found her name on the register!! The were able to talk via telephone and marvel at this and how they wish they could have met each other's families!!

Byron's plane refueling Santa!! Whew. Who Knew??
