Mother's Day Flowers across from St. Vincent's Hospital
Nurse Rosie met a missionary for an ENT appointment with a specialist at St. Vincent's Hospital and was so impressed with the doctor's diagnostics, CT scan right in his office and microscopic assessment. Our missionary was ruled out right there for infections, masses, anomalies and given a clean bill of health from the doctor's discipline.
After wards, a pond and pathway beckoned for a quick walk enjoying the retirement community grounds. This was just prior to Mother's Day so the joy was doubled!!
Mathew 23:27 "How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!"
When we visit the missionaries on apartment checks, we like to ask them to share their favorite Book of Mormon scripture and any missionary miracles.
There were two Sisters who reported being saved from a dog when some members drove their car between them and the dog and gave them a ride!!
Two Elders reported with great anticipation and excitement that they tracked out a husband and wife with a six year old son who had met members several times. They moved to Missouri for a new job with Boeing and the missionaries were texting them, hoping they wouldn't get dropped. The family agreed to meet the missionaries in their new area and were introduced to a young family who also worked for Boeing and were members. The Elders hope they will be baptized.
A young couple who self referred invited the missionaries to have lunch out with them. The husband is big into scouting and had shaken President Monson's hand twice at events. He reported a dream to the missionaries, where it felt like an out of body experience and a Being of Light came to him! The man told the Elders, "I know the Book of Mormon is true!!
