Travel from SLC, UT to Birmingham, Alabama

Steve and Rosie attended a live SLC Temple session Thursday evening and enjoyed the amazing pioneer detail of the largest Temple.  Such reverence and beauty, the intricate carvings and sacrifice of those early pioneers.  The sweet peace that comes every time we serve in the temple is such a gift.
Sept. 22nd We packed up from the Hyatt Hotel in SLC,UT and headed toward Fort Bridger, Wyoming on the Lincoln Highway.  We traveled across the plains of Wyoming and landed at Ryan and Natalie's home in Denver , CO for the night.  It was fun to surprise them and kiss on all five grands!!(Natalie knew we were coming, just not sure when we would arrive)  They fed us a nice dinner and we hugged Dawson Ewan, Christian, Josiah and sweet Annaliesa, who fell asleep in my arms.  We slept in the third floor guest room of their updated Victorian home and enjoyed a German pancake Saturday breakfast with the family.  The boys colored a large banner for us and we took some photos before hitting the road towards Kansas.
